TOUR CODE SAS 033 - 7 DAYS CAMEL SAFARIS
CAMEL SAFARIS These are not luxury safaris nor rough and uncomfortable.You travel through unspoilt areas of north central Kenya Samburu. Local Samburu people guide you.The safari is led by local warriors some of whom can inform you of the local customs and explain what you can see as you trek along.It is not ardous, you may walk or ride as choose, with a support vehicle carrying the luggage, tents, and suppliers plus any personal needs such as beers, spirits and sodas, that you may purchase from the club house before departing.Thge camp and the shower are erected for you and cook will keep you fed for the days activities. Each afternoon you are free to join the nature walk accompanied by Samburu worriors through the bush.
Day 1: Nairobi - Maralal
After breakfast depart from our Nairobi office travelling via Nyahururu,Rumuruti to our Maralal camels club for overnight in self contained bandas cottages.

Day 2: Camel Trekking- Walking
Morning and afternoon game viewing in Samburu Game Reserve. All meals and overnight in your camp.

Day 3, 4 & 5 Camel Trekking- Walking
Mattresses pad, the local wooden frames on the cqals, and after breakfast you are set to traverse through the bush either walking or hiking as you may choose. Each day you will have picnic lunch in the bush then continue to the next site, Greater parts of the evenings will be spent besides streams and rivers.

Day 6 End of Camel Trek
The camel trek ends late in the morning at the club house. Lunch will be served before proceeding for a walk to Maralal town with the Morans. In the evening you will be treated to traditional dances by the Morans. The night will be spent in bandas.

Day 7 Maralal - Nairobi
After breakfast transfer back to Nairobi.
