TOUR CODE SAS 031 - 5 DAYS ABERDARES TREKKING

Day 1:  

Depart Nairobi and drive through Kikuyu land to Nyeri in time for lunch.Afternoon at leisure or acclimatisation walk. Dinner and overnight in a budget hotel.

Day 2:  

Drive to Mweiga Park Gate headquarters to pick up a ranger(compulsory). Drive to Karuru falls where the trekking starts.Trek through various options to Chania Falls with picnic en route.Dinner and overnight at Reedbuck campsite.

Day 3:  

Hike for 16 km to Wanderi and trek through various options to Satima summit from the summit descend to Wanderis Road head for dinner and overnight.

Day 4:  

After an early breakfast head upwards through various options to Satima summit. From the summit descend to Wanderis Road head for dinner and overnight.

Day 5:  

After breakfast, leave the ranges via Wanderis gate to Mweiga Park headquarters where you drop the ranger. Drive back to Nairobi for your next destination.
